General
If you are new to pole and planning to take an intro class, then we suggest these tips for a successful class:
- Wear shorts– skin contact is crucial for good grip on the pole!
- Wear a tank top/bra/shirt that allows your arms to move freely.
- Remove your jewelry, as it can scratch and damage the poles.
- Don’t use any body lotion on the day of class.
- Bring a water bottle!
Heels and kneepads are not required for intro to pole.
Please read each class description for specific wardrobe suggestions.
We understand that everyone is unique and this includes clothing restrictions. Depending on your specific circumstances, we can advise you on the best possible way to dress for class while still feeling safe and comfortable– whether it be getting sticky pants, or taking one of our low flow classes. To better assist you please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you in any way we can.
There are on-site parking lots at our Malden & Brighton locations. Street parking is available at our Newton location.
Do not be late!
Anyone who arrives late WILL NOT be allowed into class and WILL be considered a late cancel. This is for your safety (a proper warm up is mandatory), and respect (cuts into other people’s time).
You should be dressed and ready to start your session at the scheduled time. You may arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled class to avoid being late. Please note, we currently do not permit entry to the studio prior to this timeframe.
This is a safety issue, and we ask that you respect both our trainers and other students by showing up on time as tardiness is disruptive to the training experience we aim to provide.

Refunds & Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule for any reason, you can do so free of charge up to 12 hours before the class’s start time through the BPF app or our browser. Canceling later than this window or not showing up will result in a forfeiture of the class pass and a $10 late cancellation/no-show fee, to keep our prices affordable and ensure students don’t have to share poles.
All sales are final. Purchases may not be transferred without express written permission by BPF. Prices are subject to change, and class space is subject to availability. For medical issues, contact the studio directly. Workshop purchases cannot be refunded, made up, and any missed workshop results in the forfeiture of that time.
In case of inclement weather or instructor illness, class cancellations will be announced via Instagram, our facebook group, and over email.
Booking
The easiest way to schedule a class is to download our Boston Pole Fitness App – available on Apple and Android.
You can also create an account through Mindbody.
Once you create an account, you can purchase class packages and schedule classes.
BPF does not do any scheduling for students. This includes cancellations, changes, and reservations. The only exceptions to this policy are private lessons or group events.
BPF offers plenty of price points, depending on budget and studio commitment.
If you are coming in as a novice, we offer great introductory offers so you can come in and try pole before you become a member. BPF Memberships are billed monthly, and require a 3 month commitment (early termination fee) After that, memberships will be billed on a monthly basis. To view pricing options –> Pricing
If you want to edit or cancel your membership, please email the studio at support@bostonpolefitness.com with the name on your account, type of membership you currently have, and change you’d like to make.
If a class is full, get onto a waitlist. Cancellations happen frequently, especially on the day of class. Plan to come to the class. You can be placed into a class up to 4 hours prior to the start of a class, so if you do not plan to come to the class, you must take yourself off of the waitlist.
- If you are having trouble making your class reservation, check the expiration date of your class package. All packages must be taken before their expiration date, there are no extensions!
- Check your purchase and visit history to keep track of your class packages, and see if you need to purchase another package.
- Check your visit history. From there you can see which packages were used to pay for your classes.
- Check your schedule of upcoming classes, you may have made into a class from a waitlist.
Packages cannot be shared or transferred. For liability reasons, every student must create their own account and purchase their own package. Each student is also responsible for scheduling their own classes.
No. The system requires you to keep a credit card on file, but you will not be charged again.
Group Lessons
If you are looking for a more intimate group experience, or time for group photos, videos & fun, then we suggest a private group lesson reservation. Your group will be the only guests inside the studio during your reservation. Classes are not private experiences, and we suggest groups of 4 or more reserve a group lesson. Groups that make a class reservation and become disruptive will be asked to leave without a refund.
Group lessons are 60 minutes long and based on per person pricing. Everyone in the studio must pay, regardless of participation. For larger groups we suggest making a reservation for our 90 minute pole party, which will give you more pole time. For pricing options please visit Pricing.
